We had no trouble with the agent trying to push upgrades. If you're at the Preconstruction meeting stage, there are no changes that they want you to make. They "say" a penalty will be assessed if you make changes at this point. This meeting is with your sales agent and PM. The PM usually does all the talking, going over blue-prints, possible construction schedule, and confirming any upgrades and selections you made. It's pretty detailed oriented and I loved it.
